This is what people really want to know. Too many people populate resumes with roles and responsibilities. No one cares about that stuff. What were your results? What was your impact on the success of the organization? What did you contribute to achieving organizational objectives or solving problems? That is what matters.
In Seth Godin’s post “Can I see your body of work?“, he put it this way:
Are you leaving behind an easily found trail of accomplishment?
Few people are interested in your resume any more. Plenty are interested in what you’ve done.
